Using blogs in the classroom

I think that discourse is a very important in our daily travels through cyber space. We must continue to teach to our young minds that integrity is first and foremost in everything that they involve themselves in. Mr. Harbecks blog is a very important tool for his classroom. He has spent lots of time making it very interactive for his students. I think this could become a very important tool in our preschool classroom. I could see that our parents could find this tool extremely fun and informative. This could be another special link in our communications with our parents that could enhance our relationships with them.

Introduction

My name is Mike Polk and I teach preschool at Trinity Lutheran School in Bend, Oregon. I teach preschool because I believe it is important for students to have a male role model especially during their first years in school. Besides...where else can you get paid to play all day!
